You’ve probably snagged a few great deals on Cyber Monday. You’ve maybe even braved the crowds in-person to get some Black Friday steals ahead of the holidays. But have you shopped at local and small businesses on Small Business Saturday? Let’s talk a bit about what exactly this shopping holiday is, and what it means to us!
What is Small Business Saturday?
American Express officially launched Small Business Saturday in 2010. It serves as a way to support and celebrate incredible small and local businesses in the busiest shopping period of the year. After all, so many of the big box retailers and major e-commerce companies get all of the attention on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Small businesses deserve some love, too!
In 2021, this special day couldn’t be more important. The pandemic brought a lot of hardship to many small businesses, and they could use our support now more than ever!
What SBS Means to Superfoods Company
Small Business Saturday is important to us at Superfoods Company because, well…we are a small business, and we know just how valuable support from the community is. Superfoods Company was founded by a husband and wife who are passionate about the power of superfoods. They wanted to work to create products that help people heal their bodies from within to be as healthy as they could be!
In 2018, our Superfoods Tabs were born, and we’ve continued to create new superfood-packed products that change people’s lives ever since. Today, Superfoods Company is still a family owned and operated business in Austin, TX, and we proudly make all of our products in the USA.
We know that we wouldn’t have been able to grow without our amazing customers (who we consider family!), and recognize just how important it is to support small and local.
