Fourth of July Popsicles!

Although we have to take extra precautions to stay healthy, we think these Fourth of July Popsicles will make you feel all the good summer feels – just at home this year! Summer is not canceled. Here at Superfoods Company, we hope you revel in this holiday and make it special for your family. Let’s get the party started with red, white, and blue popsicles. Nothing screams more patriotic than showcasing these colors!

Holidays are perfect for keeping our spirits up and I am so excited about this particular one! Fourth of July means summer weather, BBQ, fireworks, popsicles, and river floating. Alright, now that we have laid out… did I paint a good picture?

So here’s a recipe for a perfect summer holiday treat. Scoop up a popsicle mold on Amazon and make these Fourth of July popsicles! We had so much fun making these!

Superfood Berry Delicious Popsicles (Red)

First up, we tackling red popsicles to add to our holiday color scheme. This recipe is a double win — you get all the benefits of Superfood Tabs PLUS a cold treat on a hot day!

Ingredients:

1 Cup – Frozen blueberries

1 Cup – Frozen raspberries

A Superfood Tabs tablet, dissolved

3/4 Cup – Spinach

1 Cup – Orange juice

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Blender
  • Popsicle Mold
  • Popsicle Sticks

Directions

Blend all ingredients together in a blender. Pour mix into popsicle mold and add popsicle sticks. Freeze at least 3 hours. Run warm water over your mold to help remove the popsicle, if pops get stuck!

Makes 8 popsicles.

Coconut Lime Popsicles

Coconut Lime Popsicles (White)

We love this recipe because it’s so refreshing! It’s also so simple — you probably already have these items stocked in your pantry.

Ingredients:

1 can/13 oz. – Full-fat coconut milk

1 Lime – zest only

3 Tbsp – Honey or agave

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Blender
  • Popsicle Mold
  • Popsicle Sticks

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together in a blender. This helps the zest blend together with the coconut milk. Pour mixture into popsicle mold and add popsicle sticks. Freeze at least 3 hours. Run warm water over your mold to help remove the popsicles if they get stuck!

Makes 6 popsicles.

Blueberry Blue Popsicles (Blue)

Lastly, the blue to our holiday color scheme! We love adding Spirulina Powder to recipes, because it gives a beautiful pop of color. It also acts as a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory!

Ingredients:

1 can/13 oz. – Full-fat coconut milk

1 cup – Coconut water

¼ cup – Agave

3 Tbsp – Blue Spirulina powder

1 cup – Almond milk

1 handful – Fresh or frozen blueberries

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Blender
  • Popsicle Mold
  • Popsicle Sticks

Directions:

Blend coconut milk, almond milk, coconut water, and agave in a blender. Pour mixture into popsicle mold. Swirl in the Spirulina Powder to each popsicle. Drop a few blueberries in each mold. Freeze at least 3 hours. Run warm water over your mold to help remove the popsicles, if they get stuck!

Makes 6 popsicles.
